Yes, we'll never know what would have happened had the games been played. And...the players were certainly denied the opportunity to step onto that NCAA stage.
But, they became a name in college BB in many ways. Nobody was laughing at "pathetic" Rutgers anymore thanks to them!
There will be no banners (I guess) but they will always be remembered as "that team".
