Worst College Football Stadiums.

We've had to play in several of these.

Worst stadium that I've seen State play is legion field. My oh my.

The liberty bowl, vandy and war memorial are all serviceable stadiums to watch a game. They all have great sight lines. I'd rather watch a State game in those stadiums than the upper decks of Bama or auburn or LSU.

The host are the biggest problem at war memorial.

And their Little League baseball stadium is a Siamese twin attached to it sharing concessions and rest rooms too. NW Rankin's baseball field is better than that piece of garbage in Nashville

Legion Field takes the cake for me. They literally had to tear down the upper deck because it was condemned. Kudos to UAB for finally getting their own stadium this year and getting the heck out of that old dump. I believe the Birmingham Bowl will be played at UAB's new stadium now as well.

Technically it isn't UAB's stadium, it belongs to Birmingham/BJCC. UAB is just renting it like they did Legion Field. BJCC also close to finishing an upgrade of the arena too.

This will be their first season in it. They are having their grand opening on October 2nd when they host Liberty.

As of last year? No, they just finished it recently (probalby still doing finishing touches) and the first game will be on Sept 1.

I went to Neyland 2 years ago when we played up there and that sucker looked old and nasty on all sides but the main gate side with all the tailgating. It was cool inside because of how big it was and there isn’t a bad seat in the house but for a program that claims to be a top program in the country their stadium is not impressive looking at all.

ULM's stadium in Monroe is garbage. I know it's not on the scale as most of these y'all are talking about but when I was there for a HS jamboree a few years ago there were bats flying around, sewage water in the concourse, and it STUNK to high heaven.

Used to live in Knoxville. That action down on the river on game day is pretty cool. Calhoun's BBQ on the river ain't bad either.

Went to Neyland also.I saw lots of rust on beams and such on my way to the top on the River side. It was quiet unnerving!

The concourse was really narrow in places and hard to get around for a stadium that I'd guess was about 3/4 full. I can't imagine walking around with 100,000 people packed in there.

I was wondering why Ladd-Peebles in Mobile didn’t make the cut. Having to park in people’s yards, concessions gone in the 2nd quarter, and just a horrible experience.

But I did see where South Alabama just built a new stadium. I guess that’s why.

It's crazy how times can change. 20 years ago it seemed great. Now it's just a big, old hunk of concrete and rusty beams.

Neyland Stadium is absolute garbage. The seats are on top of each other and they're too narrow, so when it's a full house, everyone is literally wedged in there, which sucks because UT fans are fat and smell bad. You have an elbow in your left ribs, an elbow in your right ribs, and two knees in your back. Then to add insult to injury, you have to listen to Rocky Top on repeat.

The stadium is a big aluminum and concrete monstrosity. It's the worst road trip experience in the SEC, by a wide margin. The campus is nice though.
