Interesting Mark Cody played a part in this girl receiving a wrestling scholarship. How long before OSSAA gets on board with women's wrestling? How long before OSU starts to gauge interest?

OSUMatFan, my thoughts exactly. Women's wrestling seems to be gaining popularity. Why wouldn't OSU jump in?

I would think we would add women's volleyball before wrestling.

With John being the national coach of the women's team it would be a natural. Seems like the two teams combined would be cheaper than Equestrian, but I really have no idea. Womens Rowing covers the Title 9 needs for a lot of universities.

I believe that women's wrestling at OSU would add a completely new demographic to our fan base. Have some combined duals-mix in the women between the men's weights. Other than confusing the hell out of them because of the different rules....

We can't fund our men's wrestling team as much as we want. I doubt we ever see another sport added at OSU, let alone women's wrestling.
