Cal had better be prepared to do his best coaching job EVER. However, again, with all this talent, there is no excuse for not getting out of the first weekend even without PJ. What say you Cal?

A good portion of our offense runs through PJ. He's also a versatile defender. This is a major major loss (if he is out Saturday).

We should be fine against Abilene, but Seton Hall/Wofford will be a tough out without PJ. Make no mistake.

Basketball is more than just talent.

With that, assuming he's out until the Sweet 16 (though, he could still play Saturday despite the cast), I think we crush Abilene today, and squeak out a win against our Rd. of 32 foe on Saturday. He returns in the Sweet 16 against Iowa State/Houston, and then it's a crap shoot from there.

Again, missing 1 player but still having all this talent, there is absolutely no reason we should not get out of the second round.

You ever been on a team? Understand how it works?

Maybe you missed it a couple of weeks ago. Zion was out for Duke, and they played Wake Forest, a pretty bad team. Even without ZW, Duke had 3 first round picks, include 2 top 5 picks. Wake missed a shot at the buzzer that would’ve won. Can you explain that? Or does this kind of thinking only apply to Kentucky?

If Kentucky doesn't get out of the second round without PJ, this is ENTIRELY on Cals shoulders as he wouldn't have done his job in getting his players ready. I really don't care what you say, but if UK doesn't get out of the second round without PJ, then Cal needs to GO!
