Pray for good health. We are playing two teams who fired their coach mid-season and have an interim coach. One of them has a backup qb as well. We SHOULD go 8-4 with a chance at 9 wins. We aren't beating Iowa, and probably won't beat USC but 9 possible wins would be a major improvement.And the poor OL performances at tackle, does Rhule start looking at young guys like Brix?
I know the cupboard is bare at DL, but if Nebraska can’t get problems fixed by tomorrow, we don’t look good for month of November..
I doubt it. Rhule said Turner is RT1. Latest depth chart has Brix as RG3.
We've got some starters banged up or playing hurt. And coaches like to stay loyal to their starters. But if a guy wasn't playing well before they were hurt and now they are at less than 100%, then hell yes you make that move. I remember Gunner being a fresh upgrade at left tackle last year. Jeremiah Sirles (or someone from that era) finally stepped in and played guard back when Bo was coaching and our line got instantly better. It IS possible. So yeah, give the young guys a chance. And while we're at it, can we find some interior guys who know how to make/understand interior line calls & pick up line stunts?And the poor OL performances at tackle, does Rhule start looking at young guys like Brix?

The last time we had a decent OL was in Frost’s first year. And it only came after Tanner Farmer replaced the starting center after an injury. My first red flag of the SF era, why was Farmer only starting because of injury when he was clearly so much better?
Corc did okay filling in last weekend. I’m afraid of the guys we have left, who plays RT isn’t going to matter much though.
Seemed at least serviceable in the 2h last week. Dana has to commit to the run.
