Just curious… Nebraska against Ohio state was them looking past us. But we should look at this as wisconsin is really good? Is that what we’re saying?

Holy cow could you imagine the reaction on this board if our Head Coach made some of these decisions?

With just over two minutes left, Wisconsin gets a delay of game on first down and then goes for it on 4th and 9 on their own 30. Down by 3, with all three timeouts left.

Explains why they are also 5-5

Maybe it's a good thing it was a really tight game so our players and coaches know it will be a dog fight
Also Wisconsin probably will be let down just like we were after Ohio State

Exactly. The people on here having mental breakdowns every week act like we’re the only team that ever does really dumb ****. Like they’ve never watched another game in their lives.

There is a plethora of atrocious football, constantly across the board. Even in the moment, I thought about how pissed Ohio State fans must have been when they had the wave of horrible offensive decisions against us to keep the Huskers in that game. They will be in the playoffs. Oregon, the #1 team probably made some incredibly stupid mistakes on offense to keep lowly Wisconsin that close.

We signed up for this. Right? This is life in the new Big 10. We're on a four game losing streak. Two losses to top five opponents, a loss at USC and the "easier" home game against UCLA. Sure, the team came out flat against UCLA, but they are no slouch and were a tough matchup for us. So now it's on to Wisconsin which almost beat #1 Oregon. How fun.

Well you know by watching us then, opposing teams can play their absolute worst game, gift us so many things, and still beat us! That is so frustrating watching the Huskers not take anything and capitalize. I understand the ‘mental breakdown’ as you put it fans have week to week.

If you never have had a ‘mental breakdown’ watch Husker football, good for you. Maybe you are just a casual Husker fan. Again, good for you!

It’s the next day and the loss still stings. Not as much as yesterday but I’m mentally whipped. I want the Huskers to do the right things and become a good football team that occasionally wins a game.

But they (coaches and players) have to want it more than us fans. Maybe they do, but it doesn’t translate. I can go on and on with what I think is wrong but it doesn’t matter. I hope they put it together the next 2 weeks but I have no faith that they will. I will still watch but it’s very tiring. GBR.

Is it too late for my 40% chance of winning prediction?

My hope is Oregon pulls out a close win and Wisconsin has a hangover from an emotional close loss and comes out flat against a motivated Nebraska team.

lol I’m kidding myself! I now give us a 20% chance of beating Wisconsin
We need a few more years

Wisconsin is very beatable. Game is at home. This game should be approached at this point as THE game of our season. Biggest game of Rhule’s 2 years here. Win and we go bowling with a small sign of improvement and momentum. Lose and we probably lose to Iowa as well, ending 5-7.

I hope the stadium is rocking. Wish I could be there. Make Memorial a death trap for Wisky!

I want to see DR takeoff and get 4-5 yards every time they go man for man and nobody’s open. And try not to slide a yard before the first down.

He has no speed - the defenders close on him and a 5 yarder turns into a 1-2 yarder.
