Coming into the season, these were the two teams that I wanted to beat. They were the ones that had held us down, were in our own division, and were teams that we needed to surpass if we wanted to achieve our goals.

Things aren't playing out as expected so far in the B1G West. The power teams appear to be Iowa and NW, not Wisconsin and MN. But our next two games are against the teams I wanted to leap over, and if we can go 2-0 then I would feel much better about the season. MN got thumped 27-0 by NW, so a win over them shouldn't require some monumental feat.

That leaves Wisconsin as a pivotal game. They are beatable, but so are we. Hopefully we can put a complete game together.

I agree this is pivotal. Believe it or not, and despite last week, there is not a team left on our schedule that we do not have the potential to beat. I mean that. We need the injury bug to stop and to get some guys on defense back. And if we do there is nobody on our schedule that is really all that talented. Even MSU. I have seen them and they are beatable. Will we win them all?? Ha. I highly doubt it. But beating Wisky would be a big shot in the arm
