Who says I am short for 197?
I bet only half of this board have any idea on this one. I am getting old.
Does the 197 watch cowboys and Indians on TV?

And to think you had to climb a telephone pole to sing that to someone!!What does it say about me that I did not have to look this up:
Green Acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Land spreadin' out so far and wide
Keep Manhattan just give me that countryside
New York is where I'd rather stay
I get allergic smelling hay
I just adore a penthouse view
Darling, I love you but give me Park Avenue
The NJ Grounds For Sculpture is truly one of the treasures of the state that goes unnoticed and/or unappreciated by many people. Not surprised no one noticed those before, the sculptures are located in an odd place and not the most visible location. Imagine my surprise realizing what you used as your avatar. I have lived in the area for 23 years but only started to commute from that station as opposed to the one in Princeton JCT. small world I guess
Or Grip220…This post is flagged. Excessive use of the word “dice” in a single paragraph. Only dicemen99 can get away with that.![]()
Me and Grip are now internet chummy, if you can believe that. Goes to show you, there is always some common ground to be found. Useful to remember in these times.Or Grip220…
I’m not understanding all this focus on an above average wrestler who has bounced around the Iowa program. This forum occasionally wanders to strange places.I would bet on Arnold qualifying. Major upset if he doesn't.
Is Rats still there? I lived in Mercer County about 20 years ago and remember that place was really good. The NJ Grounds For Sculpture is truly one of the treasures of the state that goes unnoticed and/or unappreciated by many people.
Let's face it, so many people are so focused rushing to and from work each day, the sculptures don't have time to register as quickly for a lot of commuters.
For those of you following this conversation, check out the website. If you live in NJ or are visiting, it is something worthy of your time. It has something for everyone: https://www.groundsforsculpture.org/
Then again you probably fantasized about banging Ralph Monroe, too …The only thing I remember about that show is that I always fantasized banging Mrs Douglas in their barn.
Is something wrong with me?
I liked your jeans girl avatar alot more.Do you realize that you are the only poster that recognized the sculpture as an actual art form in over 10 yrs? GREAT observation. YouSLAYED it my man!

Their records are irrelevant.10 guys will qualify at 197, and the bottom six other than whoever goes for Iowa look the list below. I'd give Arnold an excellent shot to make the big show if he wrestles at Big Ten's. We'll just have to wait and see.
NCAA's will be far more problematic.
#8 Gavin Nelson (MINN, 3-5)
#9 Gabe Sollars (IND, 3-5)
#10 Hayden Walters (MICH, 3-5)
#11 Ben Vanadia (PUR, 1-4)
#12 Dylan Connell (ILL, 1-4)
#13 Alex Smith (NW, 0-8)
#14 IOWA Wrestler

Yep. They even run a cooking class there. Is Rats still there? I lived in Mercer County about 20 years ago and remember that place was really good.
Mikey, Mikey...don't go projecting your fantasy on my dream, I am strictly hetero. To be clear, there is NOTHING wrong with your homosexual dreams. It's just not my jam. Then again you probably fantasized about banging Ralph Monroe, too …
LOL, you got me cold bro! I totally for got about this character. But, in my defense, you can understand why?Be nice to Ralph …

Altoona has its own variety of Pizza so it has that going for it!The vast and very cosmopolitan Altoona? /s
I'd think Williamsburg or Puzzletown would work a little better. Of course, they'd have to have internet to read the joke, so you may be right.
Not trying to continue down this path, but Stevie Nicks is 78, Patti Smith is 80 and Janis Joplin is dead. I wonder if my view of ‘beautiful’ is slightly different than yours…I love beautiful women like Stevie Nicks but also wanted Janis Joplin and Patty Smith!not wrestling but still!LOL
NWA and later WCW regularly made appearances there.any of you old guys remember the JAFFA MOSQUE?
Between 78, 80, and dead, that's right in tully's wheelhouse. Not trying to continue down this path, but Stevie Nicks is 78, Patti Smith is 80 and Janis Joplin is dead. I wonder if my view of ‘beautiful’ is slightly different than yours…
It’s a given that female wrestling fans Are the hottest of all female sports fans.

I was born in Altoona and spent my childhood years growing up 15 miles away. The only thing I would do with that pizza is let it dry until it is hard and use it to shingle my roof.Altoona has its own variety of Pizza so it has that going for it!
I apologize, with due respect I forgot who I was talking to, seriously.well I am 76 so what's your point?
I too grew up 15 miles (in my case, north) of Altoona and I fully support your usage of those square pieces of pizza. I was more of an East End Pizza guy.I was born in Altoona and spent my childhood years growing up 15 miles away. The only thing I would do with that pizza is let it dry until it is hard and use it to shingle my roof.
I think his best chance is with Janis.I hope you don't think I am talking now I am 76 I mean in their prime!but stevie now yes!
LOLI apologize, with due respect I forgot who I was talking to, seriously.
that could be true I will be dead soon so again what's your point?I think his best chance is with Janis.
In appreciation of dark humor, I believe that was his point.LOL
that could be true I will be dead soon so again what's your point?
well I don't think that is correct at all dark or not!not humor I would put up!In appreciation of dark humor, I believe that was his point.
I remember taking my son and a couple of team mates up to Camp Maple Lake for the Russ Houk wrestling camp around 1993-1994 and stoping in Altoona at the ONLY Sheetz that existed then. There was a sort of amusement area, go karts, putt putt etc. next door called The Meadows and we hung out there a couple of hours got some fantastic frozen custard and got back on the road. They always did Russ Houk and then Lockhaven Intensive the next week. It was a long drive from western WV but they learned a lot.I was born in Altoona and spent my childhood years growing up 15 miles away. The only thing I would do with that pizza is let it dry until it is hard and use it to shingle my roof.
They seemed to trot out an endless supply of hotties on that show. Especially for a show based at a POW camp. The hogans heroes guard tower was pretty good too
true I am sure he will try to get to the OB as much as possible!I guess he could if the ref forgets to blow the action dead when they go out of bounds
Pig.They seemed to trot out an endless supply of hotties on that show. Especially for a show based at a POW camp.
