They are the overall 1 seed regardless. Not even arguable really. But they will be the 1st 1 seed to lose as well. But you can't take away how dominant they have been this season.

We've had some bad losses over the years, but at least we didn't lose to a 16 seed. Even if UVA wins the tournament this year, an * needs to be next to their name because they didn't have to play UMBC again.
