Message: <blockquote data-quote="MichiganHerd" data-source="post: 131377213" data-attributes="member: 1536401">Regarding the topic, I was thinking about this last night.  First of all, I think if I had to bet one way or the other, I would bet against college football completing the season.However, I do feel, based on most conferences going with a conference only 10 game schedule, this would be a great year to expand the playoffs to 16 teams.  You won't have any cross conference games to help judge the overall strength of a given conference, so why not expand the playoffs, and maybe give the top two teams in each of the P5 conferences an auto-bid, and then have the committee pick six at-large teams, and seed them.  Hell, could even do like the NCAA and attempt to make the the first two opening rounds as regional as possible, cutting down on travel.</blockquote>
