Riding the train and have ESPN radio on. Since the show started he’s been running down the toughest P5 schools to win at in basketball.

He has Rutgers at 5. Lots of discussion about it. Can’t say I disagree. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen.

I believe Rutgers was the toughest. Is the toughest? I don't think so.

For the past few decades we had no practice facility and the athletic administration threw all available money to the football program. The only support for the basketball program came from its long-suffering fans. Things are changing now... for the better.

Results based data would say Rutgers has to be one of the toughest schools to win based on consecutive losing seasons and years without one NCAA bid.As to the future the practice facility and the coaching staff are positive signs for future success and that requires far better recruiting .Bottom line Rutgers must break the cycle of losing seasons next year.

Well I guess we'll just have to change that now won't we? With the new facility and Pikiell things ARE changing for the better.

Do you have a bot set up for inane repetition or are you yourself a bot?

I gather by your ridiculous comment that you enjoy watching losing performances.
I'm self aware to know that repeating "we should try not to lose" and "we'd be better if we scored more" one million times is not analysis

I have never thought this was a tough job

It became a tough job because we have an administration that didn’t properly support the program a while and we never made a significant head coach investment ...starting with even Tom young at American university

The school is now doing a better job of giving the program what it needs

this is a very accurate list...in fact it is exactly spot on. You can change the orders around a bit depending on the year.

OK State has had plenty of success. Vandy as well. I do not think they are tough at all.

BC clearly is headed toward the bottom...10 years without a NCAA bid. They will take Rutgers place on this list going forward

I started going to Rutgers games in the fall of 1963. The number of good coaches in that period of time is shockingly small. We have won when we have had good coaching but the athletic directors have picked mediocre to lousy to personality flawed coaches on an ongoing basis.

A flagship state U in a recruiting-rich area should not even be among the 20 toughest jobs if the program is run correctly and properly funded. We’re finally on the right track... I think.
