Last night I accidently pulled up the Wikipedia entry for NU football. The first two sentences were something to the effect of "Nebraska is no longer playing NCAA football. They are now a flag football team." So must be true as well.

I pulled up Jim McElwain today and it said he was deceased with yesterday's date

I pulled up Mike Riley on Wikipedia and it says he's surprised the world by winning the national championship at Nebraska in 2019.
