Wickline OC - a good hire IMO

Ive read a couple articles about Wickline. Okla St. Suing him for some buyout cash and the article about Texas not renewing his contract. Nothing out of the ordinary, so no "red flags".

Texas HC Charlie Strong stated that since the Longhorn offense will be going in a different direction, Wickline wouldn't be a good fit as the OC.

From what I've read and could find about Wickline. He may just be what we really need and should be a good hire as our OC.

So far IMO some good moves are being made with the departures of DeForest, Cogdell and hiring a OC.

Wickline has good ties to Florida so that should help us with regard ruining down there. Need to stay in Florida because 9f the talent level.

Google search Joe Wickline and a couple news articles come up that suggest/implies he is going to be or already has. No official word yet. So i could be jumping to conclusions. Lol

"Extends an offer" is not quite the same thing as "announces the hiring."

I'll wait until I hear something from the school.
