CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny appeared to suggest in an interview Monday that many of the victims of Sunday night's Las Vegas mass shooting were Trump supporters.

Zeleny made the bizarre observation after noting that President Trump's morning press conference about the situation in Las Vegas was "pitch perfect." He went on to say that it was worth it, however, to “keep in mind” that there is significant crossover between Trump supporters and country music fans. "Something else I think to keep in mind, a lot of these country music supporters were likely Trump supporters," Zeleny said.

The reaction today by the alt left is why I cannot rule out Antifa or somebody like that.

Stuff like gambling debts and money transfers to the phillipines are starting to surface but twitter can be a bad place for info.

I dont think it looks like a strobe but I listened to the scanner replay and the cops called a shooter on a lower floor middle of the building and later one cop said it was a strobe.

Also, has anything come of the girl that was on the front row and a lady made the statement "you're all going to die" approximately 45 min before the shooting started?

What is he and others pointing out? This was an attack on Trump supporters? I'm confused. If the guy from CNN pointed that out, it is a horrible thing per one guy. If Sean Spicer or other conservatives point it out, it is dead on accurate? Why the difference in perception based on who makes the comment.

Personally, I don't care. It is a horrible tragedy and I take a stance that is always controversial among many on here as it pertains to gun violence and I'm sadden by it regardless of victim or the reason behind the shooting. But this hypocrisy of "who" makes a comment on a suspected reason why is a new turn of events.

I assume what you see in this thread is a fake Sean Spicer twitter account seeing as it's spelled "Spicier". WV82's been linking that troll's twitter account for months.

I have that troll on ignore so I don't see his posts. Yes, I saw a repost of that fake twitter account and didn't know it was fake. Why are idiots on this board reposting false information and fake accounts?

But it doesn't matter as this sentiment is already in MSM. I'm watching Morning Joe right now and they also stated the suspension by some that the shooting was aimed at Trump supporters. So, it is out there. I'm interested in why it is ok for some to make that comment and it is wrong and others make it and it is an astute observation.

It's irresponsible for any news media to theorize w/o evidence as to motive but they've got too many hours to fill and crap like that gets said by the tv hosts or their guests. Let the investigation proceed and let LEOs state their findings. I'm always amused when message board posters link twitter trolls. I guess that's proof positive that the poster is trolling and they just couldn't say it any better.

This is going to be a long investigation. For this guy to snap like this, something most have been a massive trigger. I know they are saying he had gambling debts, but that response is certainly extreme. I read this morning that he had 23 guns in the hotel room, just from a logistics standpoint that seems like a lot of firearms and ammo to sneak into a hotel.

Nah, one could walk into one of these massive resorts in LV like the Mandalay Bay in numerous trips carrying suitcases and it wouldn't be unusual at all.

I hope it doesn't remain a mystery. I haven't heard of a suicide note but maybe he made social media posts or comments to friends/family that would shed some light on why he did it. Due to all the planning and effort needed, it doesn't seem like a spur of the moment thing. Also they said he'd had that room for a couple of days so he had plenty of time to think about it/change his mind.

Damned women.....I myself was thinking he (said to be a pretty big gambler) might have lost a bunch of money at Mandalay Bay.

He spent thousands of dollars, and apparently planned a great deal, to accomplish this act. I can't imagine he just did this spur of the moment, but women... they make you do crazy **** sometimes.
