Why no commits lately?

I just remember reading a few weeks back that commits would
be "Rolling In" after Chris got back from vacation. It seems ALL
of our conference mates are doing pretty well in their recruiting
and leaving us in the dust.

1) SMU and Houston have already received commitments from almost all the D1 talent in Texas. I expect us to either sign a very small class (we can probably scrape together 10 or so from a few Class A or B schools locally) or start raiding the area D2 school's commitments for "sleepers". Monty is a A+ judge of talent so no worries.

2) ....or we know there are bigger schools who like to scour our commitment list for players knowing the reputation of Monty and we are keeping commits and targets on the down low.

Maybe we need a poll.

Not sure what I said that got you all twisted in a wad. My original
statement came from a quote by the writer of this site that said
something obviously having foreknowledge about commitments
soon to be rolling in. Nothing against him or
anyone else. I'm not worried about the recruiting. I was wondering
about stalling out. Others responded with good input as to why we
may not have the numbers. Why couldn't you do the same or
say nothing at all.
