Hire when Jon leaves to the nba, after this season or in the future? I hope it don’t happen as I see him building this thing really well but I wouldn’t be shocked it it happened…

My guess-

1. Coach K comes back on a 3 yr deal with the ultimate replacement on the bench with hin

2. JJ Redick- I think he’d make the move if K called and asked

I don't think he will leave for at least 5 years. If he wins a natty; and say the Bulls make him an offer that would be tempting for a Chicago kid. I hope he stays as he has done a great job and we are getting almost anyone we want recruiting wise. But if the NBA is his dream job and the Bulls or someone like that offers even coach K would advise him to go. He likely won't get a serious offer until he wins it all.

I really don’t see Jon leaving but the Bulls would be an attractive offer especially as they are making a youth movement and headed toward a rebuild . I don’t see him leaving Durham though unless he just gets tired of the NCAA being a development league .

K didn’t take the Lakers job when they had Shaq and Kobe and he had 3 titles under his belt, some would call the Lakers job the best job in sports.

So no, I think Jon is fully focused on Duke and bringing us titles. Yes Chicago is his hometown, but the Bulls have been a middling franchise for 20+ years now with an owner that has gone into the luxury tax ZERO times ever. It’s not the elite franchise you would think.

Let Jon win some titles here before we worry about anything. If he wants it..:he could be here 40+ years and break records. I understand college isn’t what it used to be, it’s a lot more stressful for a coach, but he ain’t going anywhere anytime soon.

also…this hasn’t been reported by anywhere reputable. Just random aggregators on Twitter posting clickbait articles..nothing to see here.
