Let me clarify this. If you = woman didn't play it = baseball then you = woman shouldn't be in the booth calling it = baseball.

So it has nothing to do with whether you played the sport, it’s because it’s a woman. I have no problem with that, BTW. I’m not a fan of the various women announcers that I have heard do football. I don’t watch MLB.

Vin Scully the greatest baseball announcer of all-time didn't play baseball. There's literally dozens of hall of fame announcers in every sport that didn't play the sport.
