It is so bad that that we need to do this the Nebraska way. Hire Trev for AD and Scott for HC. These outsider need to go. This is Nebraska we run the f**king ball. It has been 15 years since we played Nebraska football.

I'm not happy either, but unless we offer Chip Kelly $10 Million/year, there will be no quick fixes. Scott Frost is not a miracle worker, Oregon's offense this year is proof of that.
I don't think Riley is the answer, but I'm not sure who else is. A lot of coaching hires are about fit and timing - Saban and Alabama, Urban and Ohio State, Harbaugh and Michigan. They just happened at the right time for these programs.
And then, sometimes I do wonder if we should just go back to running the option. At least we had an identity then and a system to recruit to. I think I read an interview once where Scott said if he were head coach here, he'd run a combination of Chip Kelly and Tom Osborne's offenses. That could be interesting.

The odds of that happening are about the same as Tom Osborne coming back as head coach next year. Or better yet, the same as Bob Devaney coming back next year.
They better find away to win at least 6 games and go to a bowl game or it's ground hog day all over again when we had Cally.

and our defense will get wore out on the field because there will be no clock control.

and instead of getting work horse I-backs..
now we can just get pass happy sky box crowd rainbow colored ribbons, and wear them proudly as we have losing seasons.

No need for that. The football program is on fire and unless we make change at AD it will be for at least 2 more years. We need to hire people with Nebraska ties and not some outsiders who do not understand our love for the program. That is why we post and read these forums because we care what happens.
So only those with husker ties can get us to be good? You, and those who "liked" your post, have gone off the deep end.
Oregon's offense is #10 in average yards per game, FYI. Their woes this year is due to having the 103rd ranked D in the nation.
That would be something I, and I assume the majority of Husker fans, would wholeheartedly support.
