Who’s getting the snow?

Someone mentioned it was snowing up in Elkin. Where I’m at in the lower country, some flurries but nothing to brag about. I figure up in the high country, maybe some accumulation going on.

We've had some flurries up in the Elkin area. Nothing exciting.

Mitchell county has a couple inches up to several inches near the state line. Hard to tell with the wind blowing it around.

I did see Mt Leconte which is on the Tennessee side in the Great Smokey Mountains had 16”. Someone mentioned they had 15” in Yancey Co.

NWS reported 23.5” in parts of Yancey County.

I'm at 2,000 ft had 5 inches.
Up high had much more
