Making a crappy bowl game like the Pinstripe and having a couple of weeks of extra practices or having the entire coaching staff out recruiting December/January.

I vote recruiting.

I think it is very important for this team to make a bowl game, I don't see how it will happen, but we need to. It will show progress to recruits, get us more practice and will mean we ended the year on a positive note.

I haven't done a deep dive into the data but my gut tells me that most reasonably competent coaching staffs are able to accomplish both

Beat the Terps & we might get an invite on the strength of our name and our traveling fan base.
Hoping for a bowl. GBR!

Bowl game, because of the extra practice, plus it would mean we actually beat a pretty good team down the stretch.

Going to a bowl game would be a huge positive for recruiting coupled with winning 2 of our last 3 with a win over W or I. Easy choice. Going to a bowl game does NOT preclude coaches getting on the road to recruit. There's plenty of time. We don't have that many open spots to fill.

This is a no-brainer - you take the extra game.

Several more weeks of important development - especially critical for the younger players like freshman and redshirt freshman - travel to the bowl game, get TV and press exposure, and hopefully leave with a win as a spring board to Winter conditioning and Spring practice.

The biggest issue right now is still mental. These kids are use to losing. This team needs to show growth and progress. Show that what Frost is telling them is working and they are gaining ground. So imo I think going to a bowl game would do wonders for these players and this team going forward. I think the confidence this team would gain by winning the 2 or 3 and making a bowl would far out gain 2 weeks of added recruiting.

Showing some momentum and progress on the field, including a potential bowl game win should help the coaches recruit, not detract from it.

bowl practice. People who say extra recruiting time from lack of a bowl game is good are only trying to make themselves feel better.

Bowl game! Which means we limp in at 6-6 (probably). Same record Frost had at UCF his first year. Maybe we even win the bowl game?! Next year we're 13-0 for sure! :)

Don't the players get some pretty decent bowl game perks as well. I have to think for the players it would be a bowl game. 6 wins is an improvement over last year. Let's go Bowling!

Only shot we likely have is winning the Maryland and Iowa games, in my opinion. Maryland is winnable. I’m not sure about the Iowa game.

Wisconsin is going to be an absolute bloodbath. Iowa could be as well. I hope I’m wrong, but I ran out of red kool-aid a while ago.

This staff recruited for Nebraska while coaching bowl practices for UCF. It's not an either/or situation. I would argue not making a bowl makes recruiting harder, not easier, because recruits don't want to play for teams that can't even make a bowl game.

I call for alternate uniforms that have red pinstripes running down our pants for the bowl game we desperately need.

Maybe our staff is actually ahead of them curve by spending their December’s recruiting rather than tedious bowl practices.

Genius. Pure Genius.

Maybe they are even Evil Geniuses.

I say bowl game. However, many of these players on the current team didn't seem interested in most of the games this year, so leave those players at home.
