When teams play FCS opponents or even G5 opponents (outside of Boise or BYU), I honestly throw those out regardless of the score. So far, the only teams that have gone on the road to play legit opponents are Texas, TCU & Oklahoma. Texas got steamrolled @ ND & Iowa State lost by 2 TDs at home to Iowa so they look to be teams that are destined to finish right in front of Kansas in the Big 12 - although I wouldn't completely count Texas out with the talent they have.I would rank Oklahoma at the top of the league right now based on their win over Tennessee on the road in that environment. I would put TCU #2 as they beat a solid but unspectacular Minnesota team on the road. Baylor has played absolutely NO ONE, but I will put them #3 by default. The rest is still up in the air. I wouldn't count out Texas Tech as a potential upper half finisher just yet. Their defense is really, REALLY bad, but they might end up battling Baylor for the top offense in the league (Baylor #1 nationally & Texas Tech #2 nationally in total offense - Texas Tech #3 nationally in scoring offense - Baylor #4 nationally). They are not going to be an easy win imo with an offense like that.IMO, the middle of the pack hierarchy is yet to be determined between WVU, Oklahoma State, Kansas State & possibly Texas Tech. And maybe 1 from that group can move into the top 3 at some point (although I don't see Texas Tech having that ability with that defense). Still way too early. We'll find out more once league play begins. It will be interesting to see how Texas Tech does down in Fayetteville this weekend.
