I think he missed too much practice time and didn't really get to carve himself out a role. To be honest, neither HH and Carter are getting involved as much as we thought they would.
This is my beef as well. I want the TEs involved MUCH more as receivers, like we were told they would be,

I refuse to say TJ is better than Dylan in general, but in regards to what Nebraska has for overall offensive team talent and abilities, TJ is the better choice. If we had an outstanding pass blocking O Line and receivers that could get open more then it might be Dylan.

Pump the brakes TJ’s played one game against a really bad UCLA team… he’ll be the man for the next three games. Let’s sort it out after that.

Either way, it’s a great problem to have.

These posts make me laugh

Dylan hasn’t beaten a team demonstrably better than UCLA in 2 years

Want a really good laugh, wander over to NBC and see how that vaunted UCLA team ended its day…get back to me.

As I said, I’m open to a change, but let’s see how it goes over the next three games prior to alienating DR.

Also, “Coach Prime“ just lost another game by double digits (or he would have if it weren’t for a merciful bye week 😏).

You laughing at the short comings of Nebraska shows the true colors of Kong. I know you will retort to childish mindless insults. That is your mentality level. But a sad showing of a Supposably Husker fan. But I know you live in Colorado. Maybe you get offended by the flack the Buffs get.

I'm laughing at the poster (clueless)

and any who use "that was a bad UCLA team" as an excuse for the team's superb performance last week

Quite honestly, we need to keep both, and not be hoping to push out either one. It will cost some bank, but we need two competent QBs on the roster.

The thought of anointing a true freshman, after a single digit win, against a 3-7 UCLA team, is just asinine. A UCLA team that has losses on the season of 43-10, 35-10, 48-10, 56-6, and has losses to the likes of, UNLV, New Mexico, Northwestern, and Maryland.

If TJ puts up impressive performances in these last three games, then there’s definitely going to be some decisions that need to be made. Doubt we can pay DR enough to be a back-up, but I think we could hold TJ with enough cash and a promise of a future at N.

PSU will be a slightly better test, especially being a Happy Valley, and Iowa probably a slightly better test than PSU, although at home…then we’ll see who our bowl opponent is.

I guessed my point in this long winded post is: Why do some feel such urgency to get rid of DR. let’s see how the rest of the season plays out, have a true quarterback competition in the spring, and be thankful that we apparently have a competent backup QB on the roster for a change.

Cincy is going to end the year 7-5 in all likelihood.

and UCLA? Likely 3-9 with half a dozen blowout losses.

Cincinnati will likely end the regular season 8-4 (should be able to handle TCU) if they can grab a bowl win, that makes them a nine win team. But in your mind, UCLA is the best win of the season for N?
