He may not come back after this break if he is unhappy...thats pure conjecture
I think Cal does fail to use players that could steal a few minutes of rest and save a foul or two for guys we need in crunch timeMy guess he will play more when the coaching staff decides he can/will help. People act like Cal would sit a player that could be helping? I want a bag of what you are smoking for the holidays.
The coaching staff watches these players every day. They play who they think they can win with. Cal doesn't have a history of using a long bench. The platoon season made people forget about that.I think Cal does fail to use players that could steal a few minutes of rest and save a foul or two for guys we need in crunch time
I imagine he can't be happy with his playing time as of late. When will we see these minutes start to increase? How will Vanderbilt's commitment impact SKJ's opportunities for next season?
He needs to start making bone headed plays and after not blocking out, be over-aggressive and foul when the opponent has the clear rebound. Seems to work for Humphries.
You seem new on here but you just can't say this kid deserves more playing time. If you are 6-8 on the pecking order in getting in the game, you have to show that you deserve playing time in practice. He reminds me of Skai in a way, sometimes when he gets in a game against lower talented teams he looks pretty good and then you put him in against a UNC, and he has trouble against higher talent. This kid will be fine next year, he's agile, moves well for his size, protects the rim and will only get better there and offensively already better then Lee and Willie at that age.
Yeah, he must be playing well enough in practice to consistently give us nothing in games and still get PT.Well, Cal always pulls him as soon as he does that. Humphries must be playing well enough in practice to be 2nd in line behind Bam.
The issue is Humphries getting minutes, not Bam and Wenyen. He won't play more until he produces more. Let's face it, although talented, he's not as far along as Bsm and Gabriel. His time, along with Hunp, will be next year.
SKJ is a huge defensive liability with some real upside as a baseline scorer. SKJ's minutes will increase when he learns to move his feet on the defensive end and stop fouling every time down the floor. There is an opportunity for SKJ to play more later this season, but Coach must be able to have confidence that he can guard someone. Vanderbilt does not directly affect SKJ's playing the since they don't play the same position. But if Bamba picks Kentucky, that would impact SKJ's minutes next year.I imagine he can't be happy with his playing time as of late. When will we see these minutes start to increase? How will Vanderbilt's commitment impact SKJ's opportunities for next season?

This is so 100% wrong. Do you even follow Kentucky Basketball? Or do you come on here and post random uneducated nonsense? He may not come back after this break if he is unhappy...thats pure conjecture

With Vanderbilt, Washington, Richards, and possibly Bamba coming in next year, plus the possible return of Gabriel, time could could be hard to come by for SKJ and/or Hump once more.He won't play more until he produces more.
