...that Marshall was not a candidate for. Maybe Lamar.

Yeah he just got into the conference and he's gonna pick now to take off. Love how all the media types put so much thought into it.

Take mini me from Cincinnati, or Larry Brown's old shoe from SMU.

No chance Marshall lives for theOSU.

I was talking to someone this weekend who is from Wichita and his brother is very involved in Wichita State athletics (from a fan/booster perspective). The way Marshall is treated by the city, fans, and school most don't think he'll leave unless Duke, UNC, KU, or Kentucky come after him. Apparently most places in the city Marshall goes results in people giving him standing ovations.

That used to happen to me. That's why I got out of coaching. Lol.

I bet Cronin is a legit candidate. Jankovich might be. Ohio State also needs to tread lightly with regards to the amount of risk they can take on a guy. O'Brien and Tressel set the athletic department back with their issues. Matta and Meyer have done fine and brought back the respectability for the most part, but I bet tOhStU is still under scrutiny. I am surprised they let Matta go. He was a good coach and you never heard of issues within his program. Xavier's Chris Mack might be an option as well...

There's a rumor it's Billy Donovan. As a Thunder fan I wouldn't be too mad to see him move on.

I honestly believe that the biggest reason for the KD move was donovan. I think KD believed him to be an amateur.

Donovan was pretty amateurish outcoaching Pop in the playoffs and getting OKC up 3-1 on golden state huh. That's the most RIDICULOUS narrative. Donovan did a great job last year, it's not his fault KD allowed those punks to recruit him during the series. Some people just don't want to lead and want the easy way out. Get off that rocky mountain reefer bro.

KD was leaving regardless of who was the coach because he wanted an easy ring and didn't want to work for it. He has faced no hurdle or obstacle all season...and hasn't had to take a meaningful shot. He's not a killer. Donovan was next in line to replace Pop had he retired. Donovan is a really good coach who's getting a bad rap for no reason.

Well, let's talk about a different opening...this one is in football...just came across Twitter that Stoops has resigned at OU. Dead serious. I am only hoping Lincoln Riley is the guy...if he's not they're coming after Monty.
