Watching them play right now and they look pretty damn good....creative offense, defense just created a turn over and pitching a shut out...kudos to them for pulling the plug on their head coach last year, after only one season, and recognizing it wasn't working

Last year their coach was the offensive coordinator for the Vikings. He was a long time Vikings assistant. Vikings weren't sure he was up to the job of being an OC when they reluctantly promoted him. After one year, browns swoop in and grab him up to be their head coach. Ends up he does know a little bit about coaching.

Vikings need to hire him back, but this time as the Head man..

They made major investments in the offensive line in recent years via the draft and free agency coupled with a strong commitment to running the football.

They are actually better with OBJ sitting out because the guy is a walking distraction. Teams are realizing that OL and a strong running game are too important to just piece together. Mayfield is better because he isn't getting killed half the time. It all adds up.

They nearly pulled a Husker move and decided to shut it down in the second half today. 38 points in the first half and 3 in the second. I saw Baker fumbled right after the Titans got within a couple TD's late allowing the Titans to score again. Andy Janovich recovered the onside kick and the Browns escaped.
