Wheatmore High in trinity is now looking for a new football coach... not exactly sure why? Just had seen that job posted today

How is this job attractive? Its got 1 middle school feeding Trinity and Wheatmore and lets be honest neither 1 of them have a chance at winning. No depth at all
Actually they are going to build a new middle school that will feed trinity high and atms will feed wheatmore. But obviously that is a few years off.
Nothing set in stone yet, no landsite chosen, no approval of the board so this at least 7-10yrs down the road
Wheatmore had a suprsing JV squad last year which won some games. They tied Thomasville and shutout HP Andrews. Not saying that's an instant guarantee by any stretch but they have a chance to win some the next few years.
I believe all has been approved for the new middle and the land was donated to the county awhile back. But it still will be a few years off I feel 7-10 is a little long but I could be wrong.
The JV was scrappy and the Varisty was better than the record showed. They have some good size, money for the program and a few athletic skill players. What makes it attractive is the fact the Coach that just left had multiple losing seasons but was still able to land a real good 3A job because he was able to get them somewhat competitive. When they opened the first few years they couldn't even beat S Davidson.
Current wrestling coach at the school and has had successful seasons there. He was Head JV football coach two years ago, but took year off and back at it now as the Head Varsity coach. I wish him and Wheatmore the best.
Good internal hire for Wheatmore... heard Vance Hanner was getting the job when he left West Montgomery.
