Whatever Happened to Corey Chandler?

Did he get kicked out of William Paterson during or after the 2011-12 season? What happened? I'm actually curious because he went from 4 star recruit who came in with 5 star recruit Greg Echenique and was joined in his sophomore year by Rutgers' first ever McDonald's All American Mike Rosario, and those players combined with what was already there were supposed to take Rutgers to its first NCAA Tourney berth since 1991.


Instead, he went from 4 star recruit and one of the best HS players in NJ to getting kicked out of Binghamton to being academically ineligible I think for Texas Southern, and then to playing a year at a D3 school like WPU. Anyone know the particulars of what happened there? What's he doing now?

So it looks like he either quit school or got kicked out and joined the "Jersey Express" of the ABA.

There was a nice story about him somewhere. Star Ledger maybe? It seems like he was on the right track. Hopefully he is doing well.

He played there one year and did well....He needed to mature and he is doing good now. Some of his issues were his and some was not.
