We went 4-16 from 3. Murray was 1 for 9. We just picked a poor time to get cold from 3. Wasn't anything Cal did.

hope and pray Ulis and Murray account for about 50+ points...pretty much the same it's been all season...
we lived and died by our guards...and they were great ones, but less than 20 from either puts us in trouble...

I would have played Willis instead of Briscoe to stretch the floor on offense. I knew DW made some mistakes but so did Briscoe. The offense was down to 2 guards diving into the lane off a pick and roll just like before Cal went to Willis. It was bad personnel management.

NO 1..Murray shooting 3's instead of 2's.....NO.2 Take skal out he wasn't ready ..NO .3....throw it in to Lee ar the end of the game....NO 4...make briscoe a jump shooter in this game.....stupid. ...We lost to bad team...North Carolina beats them by 20
Thought we had a poor offensive game plan. We took three 3's in the first half, one a desperation heave by Ulis and two by Murray at the end of the half. You can't have an offensive weapon like Murray and not get him a 3 point shot in the first half which we didn't. 2nd half magic didn't happen for Murray as has been the norm. Not the worst coached game by cal but not the best either.
His plan was the same it's been all year. Hope Murray and Ulis shoot out their *** and bail us out. He had way to many stupid lineups out there today. There was numerous times where we had only 2 guys on the floor who was even a slight threat to score.
Except for a few, the majority won't admit that he's not a good bench coach. I know the OP is likely a troll but what he said isn't far from the truth. Cal could have Curry and Thompson and still find a way to lose in the tournament when facing a coach that makes in game adjustments.

Pretty obvious the game plan was to pound it inside and get Bryant in foul trouble. First 5 shots in both halves were taken by Skal and Alex.
I want to know what the hell Derek Willis was doing when he was in the game. Nearly every possession he just stood at the top of the key and watched Ulis. Really there was never enough moving by guys other than Murray.

I can! No 1, I would have played off the small forward who continued to back-door whoever was guarding him. I would have made him beat me from the outside, instead of a layup. He continued to score lay-ups on us. No 2, I would had Skal on the bench if he didn't stay closer to the basket. I'm not interested in him shooting from the elbow. I want him under the basket for a rebound or a pass for his baby hook. No.3, when I'm down 7 points with less then 2 minutes to go, I don't want to run the clock down to 5 seconds before I shoot. I want my bigs under the basket and Murray or Ulis to jack up a three, and if it doesn't go in, I can hopefully get the rebound.
