They should react now and announce a Selection Showcase feature of what the field would’ve been. At the same time it should be announced that while a structured tournament will not be feasible - an attempt will be made to set up mini post season regional “bowl like” classics for the qualifying teams if it becomes safe. Maybe they could manage 4 team mini block tournaments? They should do something...
