I would give Peterson an A, had he not gotten stuck in the old Brands mentality of “It’s a weakness if you can’t get out from bottom!”. Had he chose neutral he could have pressed the action getting potentially getting a stall point to make up for it…
Bouzakis cuts a ton, right off the scale he should have kept a high pace on his feet.
History says the Brands choose down too many time especially with the three point takedown. Still closed the gap! Finished three spots above his seed.B+
Stock WAY up!!!
Ayala had a great tournament and got the a hit of revenge at the end and proved is is right there. Finished only two spots above his seed.
Stock WAY up!!!
where has this Bailey been all year? He finished one spot above his seed and looked great doing it! He looked tons better and super explosive!
Even in the semifinal he looks better.
Stock WAY up!
Block was one of two guys to not wrestle to their seed this weekend. Finished only one spot below his seed, so overall not bad…. The not so good part was losing to guys he shouldn’t lose to. He qualified and will be a dangerous draw. Had he not collapsed against Van Ness he was not losing that match. Looked tons better today. C
Stock slightly up…
Voinovich looked good, finished one spot above his seed. Looks like he could win a couple matches at nationals. Not the upside Williams had but something must have happened for him to be the guy! Not much expected so grade reflects it… B
Stock neutral
Caliendo, finished one spot above his seed. I think he locks the 2 seed with both Lockett and Blaze losing. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him behind a one loss Blaze with the same algorithm the used for Big10’s. A-
Stock up!!!
Tough go for Patrick! Finished only one spot below his seed. I think he excels in the three day grind where there can be two matches each session. Would love to see him in the finals and he is capable, but think it more likely he battle through the consolations to get 3rd.
Ferrari is the brain twister! Is he still hurt? Did they pull him because they want him healing. He won’t get a good seed and will be a mid teen seed most likely. Not a huge deal, as he can beat them all but it makes for a much tougher road!
Or did he say I am done for the year, was hoping to see him on the floor at the arena but didn’t. Someone said he will be at Nebraska next year…

Had an up and down tournament as he placed at his seed, but he has wrestled forever and if healthy enough he willl challenge for the title. B
Stock neutral
Arnold looked great when he looked great but looked human when he lets his guard down.Great talent and can win a few matches at nationals. B
Stock neutral
Kueter looked great even in his losses.
Huge strides. He placed 6 spots better than his seed! A
Stock WAY up!!!
