Sometimes hangover’s from Big games, Big wins
can carry over thru 2 the next week of practice
Especially when u ‘thunk ur opponent is a dawg.
players tend 2 go thru the motions & preparation is not as intense.
I can guarantee U
TU players are practicing this week w/ alot more intent, focus,
& concentration than most of the OU players
Being a 30+ dawg could work to TU’s advantage
especially if we come out slinging the ball &
& making a few early plays, getting an early score or 2.
OU’s front line “D” is gritty, tuff, & can cause disruption
Running the ball will B difficult, Pass protection will B key.
But 15+ yrd pass plays?
History indicates ‘ol Mikey Stoops & OU’s “D” spaz’s out
& a good passing team, which Tulsa is, can cause
alot of confusion & disruption in the secondary.
OU has played no one yet who can pass the ball like Tulsa
OU has yet 2 play an offensive team as good as Tulsa is.
Tenn was primarily a running team,
w/ a QB that couldn’t throw more than 10 yrd passes
I think 4 Tulsa 2 have a chance
they must throw the ball down the field, & throw it deep 20+ yrds, alot.
It’ll B up 2 the offensive line to give Dane the time
or find ways 4 Dane to get time to find open receivers.
Because Historically speaking, Mikey Stoops
gives passing team’s alot of open looks.
