Well, to boost the B1G, Maryland would be the choice. Raises every team in the conference and puts a target on the jerseys of the Terapins. This may produced an unexpected loss or two, creating a little more space at the top of the conference rankings. Of course, RU will take advantage and win the league next season.

I also have at least one reason to root for each of Oregon, Baylor, and South Carolina. And now I have thought of one reason to root against each of these. Honestly, that would have been a pretty interesting Final Four.

With those pairings, the choices are pretty obvious to me. Ionescu v. Staley (well, sort of) is the matchup you want in the final. I'd have a hard time choosing which team to root for, but wouldn't be upset with either result.
