What happened to West?

Sags is awesome with his blocks but all fumble fingers when Devon passes the ball into him. I think he's going for the basket and the shot before the ball gets to him.
One of the most surprising things from the bball program. When he first got on campus they were raving about him. He has some talent but as you said his decision making is just awful at times.
Good question, thought we had found the guy who could knock down the 3 ball with some consistency. Sometimes it appears there is too much thought process involved in his play. Still believe this kid can get over the hump and be important aspect of the team, their going to need him down the stretch. (He has a hell of a stroke, bet this kid knocks down 3’s left and right in casual pickup games).
So far, so good. Seldom have I seen a player knock down shots as consistently as he does when he is as wide open as he is at times. (Sometimes those wide open looks are difficult to hit as often as does.) ... He keeps shooting like he has and those open looks will become less frequent.
That is where Bolden is smarter than West as of now. Bolden doesn't force up 3's He knows how to play off a screen and when to shoot. Sometimes Bolden gets crazy and keeps shooting 3's even when they are not falling. But the good ones know how to shoot when covered. The TCU game you saw him pass up the 3 when covered and drive around the defender to hit the short jumper.
West ceiling is limited cause his lack of athletism is glaring. He can shoot the 3 and we need that so hopefully he gets hot in the tourneys and knocks down those 3s like he did at Oklahoma. He went in a slump mid season but hopefully he’s breaking out of it.
