One of the most surprising things from the bball program. When he first got on campus they were raving about him. He has some talent but as you said his decision making is just awful at times.Going into the season I thought he may break out and have a great year for us. Now he gets on the court and makes some of the strangest decisions of anyone we have. Will he survive under Huggy with the way he's playing?
Good question, thought we had found the guy who could knock down the 3 ball with some consistency. Sometimes it appears there is too much thought process involved in his play. Still believe this kid can get over the hump and be important aspect of the team, their going to need him down the stretch. (He has a hell of a stroke, bet this kid knocks down 3’s left and right in casual pickup games).Going into the season I thought he may break out and have a great year for us. So far, so good. Seldom have I seen a player knock down shots as consistently as he does when he is as wide open as he is at times. (Sometimes those wide open looks are difficult to hit as often as does.) ... He keeps shooting like he has and those open looks will become less frequent. We have found a consistent 3 shooter. his name is James “Beetle” Bolden
Sags is awesome with his blocks but all fumble fingers when Devon passes the ball into him. I think he's going for the basket and the shot before the ball gets to him.
