He looks like he's gotten worse. Bad hands as usual, still hasn't developed any post game, can't finish at the rim. You'd think he would be dominating as a senior but nope.

4 years and not an ounce of improvement
He has never been good. He isn't a basketball player, just a tall athlete. Hopefully he leaves after this year
Better players around him made him look better. Mulcahy, particularly, always set him up. He’s totally exposed now.
I felt he made a slight jump from year 1 to year 2 but that was it. He’s the same player 2 years later.
It’s sad because he has regressed. Thing is I’m ok if he can’t score but his rebounding is atrocious!!!! Doesn’t box out and waits for the ball to come to him rather than going for the ball. I’m not a fan

He’s just not a a natural bball player. Great athlete but desperately needs to be fed the ball in the proper position which our guards don’t seem to be able to. He also can’t seem to developed a simple drop step move which should be in every big man’s repertoire
He’s just terrible anyone who ever thought he had a chance to make the NBA or even the G league were out of their minds

Playing them both at the same time isn't going to improve rebounding. I'm sure that's what Pike thinks. Block out drills EVERY DAY in practice will be do the trick. You can point it out in film till the cows come home and kids still won't block out.
He has regressed. He is literally a guy who chose to come back and has not worked on his game, there is no improvement. Same offensive game, lobs and dunks only. Rebounding is worse, hoping he leaves after this year as he bogs the offense down and don’t want that with Bailey/Harper here next year.

Gimme a break with blaming coaches. He can’t even catch a ball.
The whole damn team can’t make layups or putbacks. In all honesty, this is becoming the hallmark of Pike’s team. It’s year after year after year
Unfortunately Cliff peeked a long time ago. He is uncoordinated. A physical freak, but woefully uncoordinated. If you can't catch you can't play offense. I would also suggest our current guards are not helping him with easy catch and dunk opportunities...but he's also not fighting well enough to get position. What worries me even more is he's not playing solid defense. Opponents should be afraid to drive to the rim...they are not. Hard to get a lot better without hand-eye coordination.
He got a lot better between year 1 and 2, but not since then. Regressed this year.

Yup. Watching from stands it was clear the offense was MUCH better without him. Austin, Gavin, JMike played well together
He can't score against quality competition unless someone throws him an alley oop.
Cliff is not a back to the basket type of player. For some reason they are trying to have him post up and run the offense through him. It would be better to run an offense with screens, passing and drives. Pass to the open man. When a guard beats the defender Cliff needs to be face to basket for lob dunks and put back dunks. He need to attack the basket for offense rebounds.
Half of his offense was created by Paul. As many knocked him for his slowerplay, he controlled the offense, was able to make entry passes and lobs to Cliff.
Very surprising he hasn't developed any hook or step back shot yet.
Why? That’s not his strength. It wasn’t his strength in High School or his time at RU.
