Glad Hobbs was there today. He's supposed to be a basketball guy and the football coach hire is done.

Not matter how bad he thought it was, he had to be kind shocked today.

This article Sums up our program very well. Our Coaches are apathetic to even try and land NJ talent because they feel they have no shot anyway, so they focus their time elsewhere, theyll never get the top talent Ie : towns, Briscoe etc. but think about all the other talent we have that goes to "lower level" schools and do quite well... IE: Justin Sears, Quentin Decosey, Otis Livingston.

It was the most embarrassing effort or lack thereof I have ever seen at RU and I am a long time season ticket holder. Kids looked so inept like they never had been taught the fundamentals of basketball. No team concept. Too much 1 on 1. No defense at all. All of us that attended should get a refund for the good money we paid to watch that.

The Otis Livingston thing sticks out for me. People here were pleading to offer him. I figured our coaches know best; Livingston must not be good enough. Then you see what he is doing at George Mason and you know our guys don't know what they are doing.

Unfortunately I was hearing this 1 year and a half ago. Getting Freeman and sanders made me pause and think it is OK.

The worst part I heard was we had an interested recruit who was sight after and had an RU interest. The staff never called back the coach who initially called.

it is just so obvious that this staff is taking the team nowhere...heck, I will be thrilled if we dont recede this year (how pathetic and sad is that)

time to pull the plug. I know we wont (given the scrutiny we will get for the football hire $), but I really hope that Hobbs has a plan in place for after the season
