Everybody loves rankings. The Manhattan Institute's City Journal has come up with a new college ranking scheme.

UNC comes in at the #3 in the overall ranking list among universities in the United States and #1 among 'very selective' universities.

Good for us.

On the news the other night they did a piece on the est college towns. Raleigh was #5. Chapel Hill was #43. Seriously? Who did that survey? Raleigh is a dump and State's campus is one of the ugliest I have ever toured and the football stadium and basketball arena aren't even on the campus or within walking distance. They mentioned Shaw, St. Augs, Peace, and Meredith. Shaw's campus is a dump. Peace and Meredith are not bad.
