Well it's already starting. Biden's gun policy will make you register each semi automatic rifle and "high capacity" clip separately and pay $200 for each separate item. Or sell it to the government. COMMUNISM HERE WE COME! Do you really think that criminals will do this?

Gun sales expected to set new records

Dionisio says gun owners' fears of Democrats passing gun control legislation fuels a predictable surge in sales before and after elections.

Gun sales spiked after President Barack Obama's successful 2008 and 2012 campaigns. The previous record of 15.7 million guns sold in a calendar year was set in 2016, when polling suggested that Hillary Clinton would win the presidency, motivating many people to stock up on firearms, according to Mark Oliva, director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a trade group that tracks and analyzes gun sales.

The great irony of Joseph Biden’s presidency is that he could be good for the gun industry.

President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are already fueling gun sales with the gun control platform they ran on. Americans are buying guns like never before. Gun sales have surged since the Covid-19 pandemic swept through America in March.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted 32.13 million background checks in the first 10 months of the year, breaking an annual record before the year is over. While FBI background checks are not the same as sales, they serve as the closest nationwide proxy.

Gun sales are fueled by fear over the coronavirus pandemic, a flattened economy, the millions of unemployed workers and civil unrest stemming from volatile protests and police brutality. Gun sales are also fueled by politics, and consumers are motivated by the fear of gun control.

Biden’s election is seen as a victory for gun control groups like Everytown for Gun Safety. “We can count on Biden and Harris to address gun violence and save lives via executive action, and we look forward to standing behind them every step of the way,” said Everytown spokesman Adam Farina, who praised Biden-Harris as “the strongest gun safety ticket in history.”

But not everybody sees this as a good thing. Frantic buyers are rushing to gun stores to stock up before Biden has the chance to impose gun control restrictions, including a proposed manufacturing ban on assault rifles.

Why would anyone comply with that?

I lost all of my guns in a sailing mishap so I should be good.

I've looked all over
Why thank you sir for such a wonderful compliment, I do appreciate it ....
A ***** is just about the toughest thing on earth, ya can stretch it , beat it , shove a arm or two up it & it can take a lifetime of pounding & still work just fine...have 10 20 kids come ripping & crashing out of it & a few weeks later....ya guessed it ready for more pounding...
Again, thank you sir .
You should look at history when talking about gun laws.
If you can show me 1 gun that has on its own killed a person I will agree to gun laws. Please tell us how drop out joe intends on getting criminals to give up guns (Chicago wants to know) . Show me in the 2nd amendment where it says anything about hunting...
Then define "shall"

This is why the Georgia Senate races are of utmost importance, and why the nomination and approval of ACB was equally important.

Yes. A gun. Singular. I’m not scared of anyone taking my gun away because I know no one’s guns are ever gonna be taken away here in America
Exactly. A dem president goes into office and the NRA immediately gets the animals riled.

Kind of off topic, I always took you as a Manchin fan.....wouldn't Georgia electing 2 Dems make him the most powerful person in the Senate? I don't think there's a chance in hell the Dems win either seat, but just kind of find that interesting.

Easy to get riled when the President Elect starts out of the gate with some dumb *** proposals.

I like Manchin personally, and outside of politics, he's a fun guy to be around. A 50-50 tie would put him in the cat bird's seat. He's not too found of old Chuck, and Mitch and him butted heads big time back when WVU went to the Big 12, but he's commented before that the Republican caucus liked him more than the Democrat caucus. A vote on something like Biden proposed with forced gun buyback is something that Manchin would be interesting to watch on. He'd have a real real hard time voting for it, knowing he'd be done politically in the state.

Yep he has repeatedly supported gun ownership/rights...now what does that mean to him might be another story.
