True...Plus she's a grad transfer and she can play right away & like it or not she made 14 on scholly so someone had to be cut.
Theoretically they could have taken Molly Bent's scholarship, and if it came down to her or Irwin I would have cut Bent, but fortunately those decisions didn't have to be made because Butler is a logical choice to go if she wants to go to grad school and play. I am sure she will start at George Mason. She is an okay player more on D than offense. On offense she is very mechanical with her moves and not smooth with the ball, but at that level of hoops she can probably start and get 10 points a game of garbage making rough around the edges moves on undersized 6'2" defenders she can physically overwhelm. She is also a solid rebounder, and could be very good at that level against smaller and slower girls.
She was the 5th best Big in the school. The problem is the first four are also women.
