For those you are making the trip, enjoy yourself. Be sure to check out the Vol Navy. Volunteer Villiage is next to the torch on campus, but it is a little overrated.

Big Ed's Pizza is 30 minutes down the road, and it is the best Pizza I ever had. (In Oak Ridge). Long's Drug Store is one of those old fashioned ones with a Resturant and Soda Fountain.

If you are already in town, then check out the Smokey Mountains. gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is just cluttered with tourists. If you want something authentic, then go on a hike.

Oh, and if you see "University Ave" or Lonesdale", go in the other direction.

Thanks for hte tips. How about parking? I was on a UT/Knoxville web site that showed all kinds of parking garages on and off campus, but the site also said most were designated for season ticket holders and to find parking in the neighborhoods north of Cumberland Ave. Any other advice you can provide for those of us looking for parking in Knoxville?

Find Calhoun's...then sit back and chow down...it is where I will be prior to kickoff.

Ah, just kidding ya dude...we don't want you walking around in circles.;)

Not to get too off subject, but talking circles; I got a new zero turn fancy mower and the first thirty minutes I was on it, that's all I did, turn circles and run into cars, fences and nearly my dog. Now carry on and get back on subject. What were we discussing?
