Weird historical parallel

So the Pats run started with the famous in the grasp incident in the AFC title game against the Raiders in 2002. They then went into the Superbowl against the Rams, won it, and started one of the great runs in football. The Rams just won a game on controversial call (to put it mildly) and are going up against the Pats. This time the Rams have the young QB. I don't think if the Rams win it's going to signal a nearly two decade run of success, but it's an interesting parallel.

Patriots fans will be lost once the Brady/Belichick era comes to a close. They’ve been spoiled like no other in the sport..

Your point? They've won.... It's great for them. Even if they are down, they will all still be fans and just live in the past like most of us until they are able to rise again.
