Mount Airy played Bishop Tuesday for week 6. The next and last regular-season game 7 is a week from Friday 4/9/21 @ home vs East Surry.
Lol...Me too..what a joke..no wonder they have so much trouble when they get to the SMC..looks like they are playing subpar jv teams and maybe not even that..lots of walking around trying to look pretty. They appear to be a 5th place SMC team

WC played pretty well tonight the Rams had no answer for Joraye. Deana what’s going on at Starmount, they look the part, have some impressive looking athletes, but they don’t play like the typical Starmount bunch.
This score surprised me. im sure they will be back to relevancy soon. What’s the Eagles plan post-Joraye lol? As far running the ball. Going to be strange not hearing his name next year.
I would assume Bynum will be the starter in a year, and we all remember his older brother. We will take a hit without Joraye for sure, and I hope starmount gets back, odd to be in such a lopsided game against them
Every school has a period where the players are not as talented as others. I think the Rams JV team is pretty good and there is some very young talent coming through the middle school.

Good to hear! And the last I have heard Joraye will be a preferred walk on at Lenior Rhyne, not sure if that was a rumor or if that’s for real
It should be a good match up. They are much improved and are building a good culture over there. It’s not always accurate to compare scores but they played Manteo last week and beat them 54-6 and we played Manteo last night and beat them 52-7 and we played Camden last week and beat them 36-6 and they played Camden last night and beat them 42-24. Looking at those scores it could be a close game.
