is it past the cutoff to petition up? I feel like JC would have a better chance of a title petitioning up. SHG, SF, RB, and Rochester all with legitimate shots.

5A seems to have an unproven yet capable Naz and then maybe Fenwick, Morris, and the Kays.

I feel like I’d feel more confident in 5A. I know great programs don’t play that guessing game but I dislike the possible gamesmanship that could be exploited.

All.... The deadline to petition and play up is the first week of September. JCA along with Loyola, ESTL, and EIC (in their respective classes) all applied and were granted the affirmative for the 2021 season. Per Ihsa rules it is for two years. Ratsy

Remember Laugh In on TV? The German would say what I feel about JCA being number 24. VERY INTERESTING!!! BUT STUPID.
This is all in fun. Not calling the poster stupid!! He has every right to have his opinion. I just think he may be undereducated on this season. I doubt many posters would agree with him but, at least he is participating in a friendly way which this board seems to be built on. You would not want to be posting 15 years or so ago. It got ugly.
