How do you rank this years team compared to last year? They look a little bigger on film but it is hard to tell. Maxpreps stats are only showing one game so there is not much information out there.
Also, Holmes usually averages about 50 points a game and they put 77 on Camden last year. What is up with this score? Just curious.

We are bigger than last year but not as deep or fast. Lost about 20 players due to COVID for one reason or another. Instead of one stud back like we have had in the past it is more of a running back by committee situation.
As to the score last night, Camden had no quit in them and played hard to the end. We played uninspired and they played inspired. Due to depth concerns and risk of injury the starters only played the first half and then Camden scored on the last play of the game. Also even though the score wasn’t the usual score which requires a running clock, the clock was running the entire second half.
The pieces are there but just like everyone else there are more challenges than usual.
