As a GT fan, I feel badly for you guys. The game tonight was a quintessential Sims game. The kid shows so much talent but he doesn’t play like a winner. If Rhule was smart he’d keep him on the bench and give the reps to the next guy. Sims is a practice warrior but eventually his play is either so poor or he quits. I watched it for three years. Most GT fans were very divided on Sims up until the coaching change last year when he laid down on the new coach. At that point, most everyone was unified in wanting him gone. Good luck. I actually like the Cornhuskers. Just hate you got stuck with Sims. He’s going to drive you bat **** crazy.
If he plays the next game like he did tonight, he should be standing on the sideline.
All his bad tendencies should have come up in practices and been coached to, ie locking onto one receiver and staring them down.
That said WTF are we doing calling in pass play after pass play when the run was working? This loss was offensive coaching pure and simple.
