I don't disagree that it is time to fire Pike! However, given our finances and the dumpster fire that this program is, who would we get to replace him?

First and foremost someone that’s willing to attack the NIL problem themselves and get creative because the big donations aren’t coming knocking on the door

secondly someone who can implement a system that doesn’t require development and retention because it’s not a thing anymore

Assuming a buyout is on the table (which I’d have to imagine it’s not), wouldn’t it be money better spent to pour even half that amount into NIL and have a roster that can legitimately compete in conference and tourney? Then winning programs solve fundraising/money problems themselves.

Look I want Pike fired as much as the next guy but can we be fair to him at least. He took a program that was in the absolute gutter and he built it up to the point that we had four straight tournament caliber teams (2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, 2023-2024) and recruited and developed some of the most beloved players for this generation of fans (Ron, Geo, Caleb). His tenure has run its course but He is nothing like Eddie Jordan. Thanks for the memories Pike enjoy your millions and millions of dollars in your dotage.
