The first INT was a 1 handed jumping pick. That wasn’t Vandy giving it away.

The fumble was a straight up great tackle chest to chest on a very good receiver that knocked the ball loose.

The INT by Thompson was a diving pick that would have otherwise been a Vandy TD.

The intercepted Screen Pass was a fantastic athletic play.

The strip sack was again a fantastic athletic play.

No. Vandy didn’t give the game to State. But State even with 5 takeaways, almost gave the game to Vandy.
