that Trev is after......maybe it's an asst coach and that's why we haven't heard of any coaches getting pay raises from their current school

From the beginning my assumption was (and still is) that we'd hire a coordinator from somewhere or a head coach from a lower division a la Leipold.

If he goes that route and gets a HC at a lesser amount, it leaves an awful lot of money available for Coordinators and top-line position coaches.

And maybe peel off a top-notch, proven S & C coach with a history of physically developing players and make an offer that's hard to refuse.

Until NU gets rid of Duvall they're going nowhere.

Top-line position coaches will only come here if they trust the guy who's the head man. And that seems mote likely if they have had head coaching experience before. I'm fine with nabbing a current coordinator who shows a lot of potential, and I might even prefer it if we decide to go the cheap route. Still that's probably not 2-7 Mickey.

That fat *** f**k Duvall was sure cocky a few years ago…

Maybe “old Nebraska“ was referring back to the Jennings days. Then I stand corrected - mission accomplished!

I will say, it's been high cotton for you the last 5 years

now that the dick who used to coach here is gone, are you workshopping some new characters?

I can't speak for BIG RED or anyone else, but, back in the day, nobody got a free pass.

You guys are just going to have to wait until after the Iowa game. Unless Mickey is not going to be given a chance and Urban says yes, we are going to have to wait. Or we can have a new thread about it every day. The choice is yours.
