Coaches Poll Released on Tuesday

The award for most biased voter of the week goes to Zach Smith of the Waco Tribune. He left Iowa off his pre-season ballot and last week's ballot, but now that Baylor is set to play Iowa this week, he votes Iowa # 18. Iowa's movement on Smith's ballot this week is Iowa's biggest movement this week on any of the 32 AP ballots. Iowa picked up two other new voters this week (along with Smith), and they voted Iowa # 23 and # 24.

Tennessee and NC State are somehow propping each other up with their preseason rankings. Another reason rankings in any sport shouldn't happen until a minimum of one month has gone by.
