I was at a Charlies game in tenth grade..Jim Bouton had written the book "Ball Four"..Comer was one of the subjects in the book and Bouton wrote that he did speed..greenies...got sent to the minors and he was playing left field at Watt Powell park..my friends and I were giving him hell....he got a hit and I yelled "hey Comer, was that a one or two greenie double?"..he started to climb the fence to get to get me. someone stopped him..thank goodness
