Received an Ancestry.com DNA kit during a White Elephant family gift exchange at Christmas time. Have not used the kit yet. Does Ancestry.com make available DNA results and info to government agencies and private businesses and organizations. Perhaps using familial DNA to help solve cold cases or identify abandoned children, or prove applicant's racial/ethnic background claimed on job and college applications. Not sure I want to find out three weeks later that I am related to D.B. Cooper.
